UTP Category 5e UV Outdoor Cable

UTP Category 5e UV Outdoor Cable is a high quality twisted-pair cable designed for professional data transmission systems installed outdoors. Its polyethylene (PE) sheath is resistant to UV radiation, sunlight and moisture. The cable can be installed into ducts, trays or buried in tubing underground. The UV CAT5e cable has numerous applications, although Outdoor Wireless and IP surveillance tend to be the most popular.

The cables are unshielded, relying on the twisted pair design for noise rejection. Category 5 has been superseded by the UTP Category 5e cable specification structured cabling for computer networks such as Ethernet, and is also used to carry many other signals such as basic voice services, token ring, and ATM.
